In addition to providing trash collection and disposal services to home, schools, businesses and government facilities, Waste Management also actively supports many special events and celebrations in the communities we serve. This is one more way we can help make communities cleaner, safer and stronger.

Company Wide Events

America Recyles Day
America Recycles Day is a national affiliation of government, non-profit and private sector organizations that is dedicated to keep recycling working.

This national affiliation sponsors an annual event on November 15th to encourage every business and consumer in America to start or enhance recycling efforts and to buy recycled-content products.

WM is a Premier Sponsor of America Recycles Day.

Clean Your Files Day
WM is also the sponsor of Clean Your Files Day, a project of the Recycling At Work program of the U.S. Conference of Mayors.

Clean Your Files Day is an event encouraging employees to increase the amount of paper recycled in the workplace by purging old files.

It is held on or around Earth Day, April 22nd.
